Bayern moved ahead just after the half hour in Bochum through a fabulous left-footed belter from the evergreen Ze Roberto. The hosts then shot themselves in the foot as Pfertzel saw red in the 48th minute and Philip Lahm added a trademark second, cutting in from the left and finishing with his right, to double Bayern’s lead.
